Achieve Whole Recovery is now able to offer observed urinalysis testing in Colorado Springs.
What is Urinalysis Testing?
Urinalysis testing analyzes the presence of illegal drugs, prescription medications, and alcohol levels in your urine. The most common types of drugs screened for in urinalysis testing include opioids, methadone, marijuana, amphetamines, methamphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, and phencyclidine (PCP).
This type of test is painless and carried out by passing urine into a sterile specimen cup.
With a 1 to 5-day detection period urine testing is the most common drug testing method used by employers, courts and schools.
Observed UAs for Parole/Probation
Court ordered drug tests should contain detailed instructions specifying the type of test to be administered and the necessary screening. If sample collection needs to be witnessed in order to prevent potential tampering or substitution, those specifications will be stated in the court order.
Our clinic provides observed UAs for a variety of parole or probation assessment needs, though we only offer non-DOT urine drug tests at this location.
Who needs Urinalysis Testing?
Our urinalysis testing services are available for:
- Employers/employees in need of a pre-employment drug test, random drug test, or post-accident drug test as part of a drug-free workplace program
- Individuals in need of a drug or alcohol test due to a court order, probation, parole, or family concerns
