Your telehealth visit is the first step in your recovery journey. During this appointment, our team will get to know you, understand your needs, and recommend a treatment plan aligned with your goals. Once we decide together that this plan is right for you, there are a few important steps to take so we can safely and effectively begin your care:
Complete intake paperwork and insurance information.
This paperwork gives us your consent to begin treatment and must be completed before services start. Our administrative team will provide the forms while you are in the online waiting room.
Provide a urine drug screen (UDS).
UDS testing is required for all Addiction Medicine services. We cannot prescribe controlled (“scheduled”) medications without this step, so please plan to complete your test as soon as possible.
Complete recommended lab work.
Routine lab work helps us support your health throughout treatment. Your medical provider will send orders to a lab near you. While labs are not required to start medication, they are required to continue your care.
